ABOUT THIS ENTREPRENEUR
Throughout most of my life, I have lived in abusive homes and suffered through emotionally and physically trying circumstances. I was forced to raise myself, being passed from broken home to broken home. I grew up with physical disabilities, which were made more challenging after an immobilizing car accident and stroke. After many years of abuse, I reached a point in my life where I could not take it any longer. I looked back at all I had experienced and had nowhere to go. I ended up on Skid Row where I had the opportunity to take a business course. My past is behind me and I am now moving on. I see my business as an avenue through which I can express my talents while helping others.

Crocheting is a passion of mine that I want to pass along to benefit others. I also have a passion for working with senior citizens and can see clearly how my business will benefit people in the senior citizen community. In teaching crocheting to senior citizens, they will be provided companionship and an art they can pass on to the next generation. It will be rewarding to see how my business can brighten the lives of senior citizens. In the future, I may like to incorporate other forms of artwork into my business, specifically drawing with bright colors.
